It is used for tree census, land-cover area estimation, and change detection over time, without requiring a full manual survey of every hectare. DTI developed GEOAI as a proprietary product for plantation and agribusiness needs.

How does GEOAI help plantations comply with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)?

The EUDR (Regulation (EU) 2023/1115) requires commodities such as palm oil entering the EU market to be traceable to a plot-level geolocation and proven deforestation-free after 31 December 2020. What’s the difference between RSPO and ISPO certification, and how does geospatial technology support the certification process?
