1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (browser, phone) to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies include local storage, pixel tags, and tracking scripts. Throughout this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
Cookies can be:

- Persistent cookies — remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
- First-party cookies — set by DTI directly.
- Third-party cookies — set by services we use (e.g., analytics, advertising platforms).
2. Our cookie categories
We group cookies into three categories. You can accept or reject each category independently through our cookie banner.
2.1 Essential cookies (always active)
Required for the Site to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.
- Language preference (
NEXT_LOCALE, dti_locale) — remembers your selected language (Bahasa Indonesia or English). - Cookie consent (
dti_cookie_consent_v1) — remembers your cookie preferences so we don't ask again on every page. - Session security — prevents cross-site request forgery (CSRF) on form submissions.
2.2 Analytics cookies
Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve content and performance. We don't combine analytics data with personally identifiable information without your separate consent.
- Google Analytics 4 — page views, session duration, traffic sources, device types. Data retention: 26 months.
- Microsoft Clarity (when enabled) — anonymized heatmaps and session recordings to understand UX issues. Data retention: 13 months.
Under Google Consent Mode v2, the analytics tag is active by default (a consent-granted state) when you open the Site, so measurement runs from the start of your visit. You can reject it at any time via the cookie banner or the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer — when rejected, the tag switches to consent-denied, stops setting cookies, and sends only anonymous, aggregated signals. We do not combine analytics data with personal identity without your separate consent.
2.3 Marketing cookies
Used to measure advertising-campaign effectiveness — including Google Ads conversion attribution — and to deliver relevant advertising. Advertising-related storage (ad_storage) is active by default so campaign conversions can be measured, and you can reject it at any time via the cookie banner. The advertising-platform tags below are active only if and when we run a campaign on the respective platform:
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (only while a LinkedIn campaign is active) — tracks visits from LinkedIn ad campaigns and enables retargeting on LinkedIn.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel (only while a Meta campaign is active) — tracks conversions from Meta ad campaigns and enables retargeting on Facebook and Instagram.
3. Cookies from our partners
When you visit pages that embed content from our technology partners (Tilaka, Yubico, DHealth), those services may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies. We do not control these third-party cookies.
4. Managing your preferences
You have several ways to manage cookies:
- Our cookie banner — appears on your first visit. You can accept all, reject all (essential only), or customize per category. Click "Cookie Settings" in our footer to revisit at any time.
- Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block, delete, or be warned about cookies. Note: blocking essential cookies may break Site functionality.
- <strong>Opt-out tools</strong> — Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on (<a href="https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout</a>). For third-party marketing cookies, if enabled in the future, you can manage preferences through the relevant platform’s ad settings.
5. Consent under UU PDP
For non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing), the Site uses an opt-out model: they are active by default when you open the Site and you can reject or withdraw them at any time via our cookie banner or the "Cookie Settings" link in our footer. The related processing of personal data is subject to our Privacy Policy and UU No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP). Your controls:
- Informed — this policy describes what each cookie category does.
- Per-category — you can reject analytics and marketing separately via the banner.
- No essential barrier — core Site functionality keeps working even if you reject non-essential cookies.
- Revocable — you can reject or change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.
6. Cookie data and personal data protection
Some cookies process information that may be considered personal data (e.g., IP address, device identifier). Our handling of this data is also subject to our Privacy Policy. Your data subject rights — access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent — apply to cookie-derived data.
